PROGECO ENGINEERING SERVICE Srl (P.E.S.) is an Italian company that provides services for: multidisciplinary engineering, maintenance and installation of industrial plants, Service Management and Technical Specialist Recruitment as authorized Employment Agency by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.  The company has principal offices in Solvay (Li), Florence, Vibo Marina (VV), Pomarance and Bari; the company has subsidiaries in Mexico, South Africa, USA, Brazil, Chile, Bulgaria and Romania. PES to date has over 200 employees, operating on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Renewable Energy (Wind and Geothermal) fields for major national and international clients.

For a Client operating on Renewable field PES Srl is looking for a FIELD COORDINATOR (INVENTORY).


  • Acts as subject matter expert (SME) for process, procedure, and compliance for operations/construction and proactively assists in process development (streamlining and aligning).
  • Validates and ensures operations/construction processes are being followed according to excellence business processes.
  • Develops, improves and implements operations/construction processes and best practice related to construction sites and ensures that they are followed according to excellence business processes; identifies areas of improvement; regularly monitors business processes (“BPs”) and supporting work instructions (“WIs”) for updates and revisions.
  • Develop and monitors construction PPIs and KPIs, and works with data owners to correct errors; provides KPI, PPI indicators to managers on regular basis.
  • Actively drives and supports operations/construction site start-up (eg. ordering of containers, QAR’s, etc); ensures accurate documentation and controls of tools and project inventory, provides on-site SAP and business process assistance, training, and support for construction site personnel, but primarily for inventory and office coordinators.
  • Supports construction sites and field coordinators during execution of the project as required
  • Supports in project close-out, punch list completion and handover to service
  • Ensures NCR coordination is carried out in accordance with Vestas internal process and construction requirements.
  • Job Book requirements; support as-built processes and compliance; and works with traceability.
  • L2 super user activities including communication, training, monitoring SAP solution manage queue for unassigned and aged user help requests.


  • Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years of experience in operations; experience in construction-related industry preferred
  • Strong systems skills including SAP and MS Office applications
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Ability to multi-tasking and meet multiple deadlines and competing priorities
    Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels and across the organization
  • Ability to work in both a team based environment and independently;  develop strong working relationships
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong ability to organize work, time management, analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and a interaction with client personnel

Safety Requirement for Climbing

  • Vendor will provide Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) that ensures the safety of all VAPs when climbing and working in turbines.
  • PFAS, combined with fall arrest systems installed within the towers, have an upper weight limit of 300 lbs/136 kgs.  (The 300 lbs weight limit is set by the system manufacturer and designed around the acceptable arresting force a user would be subjected to should a fall occur.)
  • VAPs who weigh, together with their climbing harness and gear, more than 300 lbs/136 kgs, exceed the upper weigh limit of the fall arrest system, and cannot safely climb or work in the turbines.
  • Scales will be provided on Vestas sites to allow VAPs to privately weigh in each day prior to climbing.
  • Each day prior to climbing, VAP will certify in writing that they are under the 300 lbs/136kgs weight limit will all of their gear.  This will be included in the JSA/JHA.
  • A manager may request at any time that a VAP weigh in. The manager can request to witness the weigh in.
  • Any VAP will be required to leave the site if they are over the upper weight limit of the fall arrest system.
